This 1999 Ski Nautique is one of our stock boats, and I used it as my personal ski boat last summer. It is a good runner, and has GREAT colors. I have decided to do a partial restoration on this boat, and then list it for sale. I am planning to restore the gelcoat, install all new factory graphics, powder coat the windshield frame, do a thorough cleaning on the carpet and interior, and freshen up the dash a little bit. The swim platform will be refinished too. 1998 and 1999 are my favorite years of the "bubble butt" Ski Nautiques. Follow along as we give this beautiful boat new life!

We have replaced the carburetor again, and the boat is running well now! She's all cleaned up, running well, and ready to find a new home!
Today was water test day. Unfortunately, we still have the hesitation issue, even though we have replaced all of the fuel system components, including lines and filters. The carburetor is a brand new Quick Fuel M600, but I am going to try swapping on a new Holley 4160 to see if that fixes the issue. Stay tuned...
Got the fuel lines primed today, replaced the anti-siphon valve, and reinstalled the dash. The oil and transmission fluid have both been serviced. I still need to install the panel under the dash, and then it is time for a water test tomorrow!
The dash is just about ready to go back on this boat. I am waiting on a set of screws for the dash panels, and then it'll be ready to go back in. This is not a full dash restoration, just a quick refurbish using existing parts. We're making the existing dash components look as good as they can without replacing anything.
