A client from Belews Creek, NC brought in this nice 2002 Super Air Nautique today. He just wants a few things freshened up on the boat. It is a beautiful boat, and the colors are great. We'll be going through it and checking out all systems, installing a new rub rail, installing a new bimini top, replacing all of the gauges on the dash, installing the correct factory graphics and pinstripes on the hull sides, and fixing a few other odds and ends. Looking forward to getting started on it!
Well, this beautiful vessel is heading home with its owner right now. We've enjoyed working on this boat. I know the owner is going to have a great summer!
Final water test happened yesterday, and everything is working great! This boat got a little additional cleanup of the panel under the dash, a slight adjustment to the wiring for the gauges, new gas shocks for the engine cover, along with a new mount for one gas shock to replace one that was cracked, and new trailer guide pads. It is heading home on Friday!
We have been asked to replace a couple more items on this boat while we have it, including a broken support bracket, some gas shocks, and trailer guide pads. We'll be keeping this one a few more days, which is fine with us!

We had a spare complete PerfectPass gauge around from a prior upgrade we completed, so we swapped the good gauge into this dash so that the customer would have a proper PerfectPass display that wouldn't allow water inside. This was exactly the same model gauge that was originally in the boat, it just looks and functions better because the bezel is ther…
Ok, this one is just about wrapped up. Tomorrow is the water test, and as long as everything works as expected, it'll be ready to head home with its owner. We have installed a new rub rail, new graphics, all new gauges, adjusted the PerfectPass, installed a new bimini top, replaced the fuel sender, replaced the impeller, and removed some outdated add-ons. This has been a fun transformation, and I think it looks great!
Tomorrow we'll install a couple pieces of SeaDek on the arm rest panel and water test the boat.
Today, the new rub rail and the new bimini top were installed. The tower-based bimini tops that we install are all solid-frame construction -- no straps to flap about in the wind. This results in a stronger, quieter bimini top that is more resistant to vibrations and wear. They look cool, too.
